![]() Maddy was a true older sister to Lexi, helping her achieve the self-confidence that Maddy had. Maddy's portrayal as Marta is the one story that actually reveals a key part of Maddy's past. At one point after Maddy and Cassie became friends, the fighting between Maddy's parents got so bad that she temporarily moved into the Howard household that strengthened the bond between the two girls, and Lexi finally saw Maddy in a different light. Nate's "Our Life" character leads the locker room number that shatters the image of Nate, who all of a sudden is a gay-rights activist who walked out while claiming it was homophobic. ![]() A tremendously effortless homoerotic musical number to "Holding Out For a Hero" proves to the Euphoria fandom on Twitter that the only woman who can defeat Nate Jacobs is Lexi Howard herself. ![]() But Nate's portrayal is even better and more aggressive than whatever the love affair would've given. The play isn't entirely explicit in the relationship between Cassie and Nate, but then again, Lexi wasn't 100% sure that they were together. To Lexi, Cassie's only pursuit in life is to have sex, which is obviously a much deeper and internal struggle that Cassie has to deal with. Cassie's portrayal as Hallie isn't atypical of her, but it's also not exactly respectful either. ![]() But once that time came, Lexi never achieved the physicality that Cassie did, but Lexi convinced herself that it was for the best. Cassie was always the beautiful one, Lexi claims, and Cassie's blossoming in puberty was what Lexi looked forward to the most. Cassie's may have been the harshest out of all the people portrayed in the play, given Lexi has typical younger sibling syndrome when it comes to her sister. ![]()
